Overview

Cholatse is one of the most spectacular mountains in the Khumbu valley. It is a hidden gem of the Himalayas and not so many people have climbed it, giving you a real sense of adventure.  The summit ridge is very beautiful with views of the Gokyo and Khumbu valleys as well as Everest, Lhotse, Cho You and Makalu. While climbing Cholatse, you will test your different climbing skills. There is some great rock climbing and scrambling before you get onto the ridge. Once on the snow line there is mix or snow, rock and ice climbing. Base Camp is a very comfortable camp in a yak meadow close to a river.

Our objective is to put you in the best conditions to reach the summit of Cholatse with the support of a very good team of Sherpas and a superior logistics. World Sherpas will also provide a tracking system for your family, friends and sponsors to follow your progress as well as photo and video coverage of the expedition.

World Sherpas 2020 expedition will be led by the very experienced Furtemba Sherpa, UIAGM guide.
