Big Four Mexico Volcanoes

  • 5,636 m / 18,491 ft
  • Mexico
  • 9 days

Overview

This exceptional expedition consists in climbing four of the highest volcanoes of the trans-mexican volcanic belt in seven days (excluding departure and arrival dates). The summits include the highest peak of Mexico and the third highest peak of North America, Pico de Orizaba at 5,636 m / 18,491 ft. The expedition is easy technically (only two peaks would require the use of crampons) but is very demanding physically and represents a great test of your stamina in a short time frame and at limited cost.
